All bags will be searched upon entry.
Prohibited items food within the park will be disposed of without return.
Additional items deemed by management to be dangerous or inappropriate may also be prohibited and confiscated.

Prohibited Items
  • Weapons of any sort. No knives, guns, brass knuckles, loose batteries, wires, box cutters, etc.
  • Drugs, drug paraphernalia or any illegal substances.
  • Drones & Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS)
  • Sparklers, fireworks or incendiary materials of any kind 5. Bikes, skateboards & other personal transportation items.
  • Sunscreens, Canopies or Umbrellas that need to be inserted into the ground.
  • All Noisemakers (including megaphones, air horns, sirens, whistles).
  • Laser Lights and Pointers
  • Mace/Pepper spray
  • Animals & Pets (excluding service animals)
  • Footballs, Frisbees, Baseballs and other projectiles
  • Helium balloons
  • Enclosed or Walled Tents
  • Gas or charcoal BBQs
  • Smoking or vaping
  • Glass Containers

Transportation

Getting to NOAA
Primary bus route is Route 75 which operates along Sand Point Way NE.  Stop # 9900.  Runs on 15 minute intervals on Saturday.

Route 62 also services NOAA and Magnuson Park.

Uber/Lift  drop off will be at Sand Point Way NE and NE 77th St. Just South of the Metro Stop #9900.

When get off bus or out of car the passenger will be facing the Mountainers building.  Turn left (North) and walk to the NOAA entrance - NE NOAA Drive.  There is a sidewalk all the way to the Event area.  Less than 1/2 mile walk.

Parking

Only vehicles with a Parking Pass can park on the NOAA Campus.

Parking in Magnuson Park is open to the public on a first come, first serve basis. Vehicle entry is through the Magnuson Main Entrance.  Look for the tall FWF monolith.

The entrance is at Sand Point Way NE and NE 74th Street.

Seattle Police will direct traffic on Sand Point Way NE. Once on Magnuson the driver will be directed to a parking spot.  

From the parking spot, walk to the Event area on a sidewalk along 63rd Ave. Walking Distance is from 1/4 mile to a little over 1/2 mile.  

ADA  parking will be on a first come, first served basis.
